Brainy Prices (prices.brainy.ae) is operated by SOFT DEV FZ LLC, a free zone limited liability company licensed by Fujairah Creative City – Media Free Zone (licence No. 9485/2016).

Free access and account keys

Brainy Prices offers free queries of information and cost-of-living estimates. You may query anonymously within the published limits or request an optional free key by confirming your email. There are no payments, data sales or premium access to paused sources.

Keys belong to your account: keep them secure and revoke exposed keys. They permit read-only data access, not account management or private data access. Each account may have up to two active keys, sharing 60 data requests per minute and 1,500 per UTC day. Keys expire after 180 days. Anonymous v2 access allows 30 data requests per minute and 500 per UTC day. REST and MCP share these limits; rotation does not renew the quota.

Data calls count towards the quota, including 304 responses, paused results and validation errors. Separate network and service-capacity protections may apply. See the documentation and OpenAPI contract for request limits, response headers and retry behaviour.

Information and estimates

Figures show the available source and date. They may be historical, incomplete or change before a purchase. Estimates depend on your parameters and the stated exclusions. Verify prices, tuition and fees with the provider or authority before deciding.

Brainy Prices is independent and is not endorsed by the Government, KHDA, DLD or MOET. The service does not provide tax, legal or real-estate advice.

Attribution and each source's rights

When displaying results, including through an AI agent, preserve the source, licence information, date, freshness status and warnings. Follow the conditions of each source. KHDA's conditions require non-commercial use and unaltered original data. DLD Adapted Material retains the Dubai Open Data Licence; clause 3.3.1 distinguishes a Work Product, which may be licensed separately under clause 3.5.1.

A free API does not grant new rights in third-party materials or make every result an openly licensed dataset. Source-specific conditions travel with the results; do not replace them with a blanket licence.

Permitted service use

The service offers bounded, selective queries. It does not offer bulk downloads or dataset exports while their legal review remains pending. Do not evade quotas using extra keys, IP addresses or repeated queries, interfere with the service or try to access private data.

Service limits do not add restrictions to rights granted by a source's licence over data lawfully obtained. A key never enables restricted or paused sources.

Availability and changes

We may limit or suspend abusive traffic, correct or remove a source and retain paused resources with an explanation. We do not guarantee continuous availability or a date for paused sources to resume.

V1 remains available during the announced transition. Incompatible changes require a new version and a deprecation notice. Changes to these terms are identified by their version date; new key requests require acceptance of the current version.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The API, the MCP server and the keys are a free service provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability. Figures can be historical, partial or wrong, and estimates depend on their inputs.

To the extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, SOFT DEV FZ LLC is not liable for decisions taken or losses suffered on the basis of the data, its absence or any interruption of the service. Check prices, fees and charges with the provider or authority before relying on them.

We may suspend or revoke a key, or limit its access, in case of abuse, attempts to bypass quotas, breach of these terms or a source's conditions, or a risk to the service.

Privacy and account deletion

The privacy notice explains email, confirmations, technical logs, retention, processing outside the UAE and your rights. Do not send credentials or unnecessary personal data in queries.

Rotate or revoke a key through a new email confirmation on the key management page. To request account deletion, withdraw consent, request a correction or removal, or raise a privacy question, write to prices@brainy.ae. Never send your key or confirmation token. Account deletion requests are handled within 30 days; any justified legal retention will be explained.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
